Loving God,
Who called us to “honour father and mother”;
May all with whom we work, have our respect,
Our pledge:- their safety and well-being.
All: If we have failed to care, forgive us.

Creative Spirit,
Inspire our inventiveness, spur our resourcefulness.
In all we plan or do and say, give us integrity.
All: May we be bold in caring.

Jesus, Companion,
May we find you in every member’s individuality;
Help every soul retain your gift of choice.
All: For all your gifts of life, we’re grateful.

God of Community,
May our community enable independence,
Yet offer lonely ones:- belonging.
All: For Resthaven we pray:
For carers near or far,
Those cared for, firm or frail,
Who were, or are, and are to be,
We’re grateful, God of Grace.
