- Resthaven employs approximately 1600 staff in a wide variety of positions, and is supported by around 450 volunteers.

- Recruitment, retention and development of staff is a primary focus. All staff undertake a comprehensive orientation and induction program.
- Resthaven employs experienced and dedicated staff with expertise in areas such as diversional therapy, palliative and dementia care and continence management. Qualified social workers offer assistance when required.
- Quality nursing, personal care and housekeeping services are provided at each site. Clinical services such as podiatry, physiotherapy and diversional therapy are available, as are additional services such as hairdressing.

Resthaven CEO, Richard Hearn, has worked at Resthaven for more than twenty years and actively advocates on behalf of older people. He was awarded the national industry body, Age and Community Services Australia, Individual Award for Excellence for 2009 - 2010 in September 2009.
Richard is supported by an experienced executive team.
