Have you seen our community service announcements on television?
The aim is to show older people in a positive light - to challenge negative stereotypes of older people and of working in aged care. It features older people actively enjoying life and interacting with younger people.

Resthaven Shines in National Awards for Excellence.
On Monday 14 September, 2009, Resthaven was honoured in the National Awards for Excellence in Perth at the National Conference - Get Up, Stand Up - of the peak body, Aged and Community Services Australia (ACSA).
ACSA's National Awards for Excellence recognise outstanding contributions in the field of aged care.
The Individual Award went to Richard Hearn, Chief Executive Officer of Resthaven. Richard was honoured for being a "A true champion for aged care" .
The inaugural Media Award also went to Resthaven Incorporated, recognising the proactive Positive Images Campaign to influence how older people are portrayed, perceived and treated in the media and the community - challenging the negative stereotypes of ageing.
 In 2011, Resthaven won the Aged & Community Services SA & NT State Award for Excellence for publicity generated in the media about the 75th Anniversary.
