Newsletters are a key source of communication across our residential sites and community services. More than fifty newsletters are produced in-house each year, to enable our staff, volunteers, residents and community services clients to remain up-to-date regarding Resthaven activities, events and requirements.

'The Resthaven Review' is our primary general newsletter, and 'In Touch with Volunteers' is our volunteer newsletter.
Individual site newsletters are available on request.

With a Little Help...
How family and friends can support a Carer
(PDF 340kb)
Carers fulfill a valuable and important role in our community; supporting the people they love, family members and friends to live a better life.
It can be a demanding and lonely role and Carers can feel like they go it alone in an environment where few understand what it is that they actually do and what life for a Carer is like.
There is little information that helps Carers explain to their family, friends and the community what it's like for them.
This easy-to-read booklet, written by the Resthaven Carers Community Advisory Group, aims to help the reader understand how a Carer feels, the role of the Carer, and how they as a family member or friend can support them.
