Clinical Services
Clinical services is a priority area, both within residential care and community services.
The Clinicians at Resthaven encompass Registered and Enrolled Nurses, Continence Nurse Advisers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Podiatrists. These Clinicians are able to provide support and guidance to ensure our residents and clients receive the highest quality of care.
Clinical Practices are documented in the Resthaven Clinical Practice manual as Work Instructions. They identify better practice and provide step by step guidance for staff when completing their work.
Resthaven's clinical services are based on a strong foundation of continuous improvement. Suggestions for improvements are encouraged and improvement opportunities form the basis of our quality programs.
Standards of care are monitored via internal clinical auditing systems, clinical incident reporting and review of documentation. This is a key area of our clinical governance. Findings are reported and trends noted so that any required action leads to an improvement in Resthaven's systems and processes.
At Resthaven we never lose sight of the fact we are here to give individualised care to our residents and clients and the very best way to ensure we are doing that is to listen and consult. This ensures all care is meeting the residents or clients needs.
