Professional Nursing and Allied Health Services
Resthaven’s nursing and allied health services aim to improve quality of life for older people living in the community (including residents in low level care residential services), through rehabilitation, maintenance and re-training to cope with the activities of daily life, and provision of clinical nursing and allied health services to people living at home.
We are an approved provider of: Transition Care Program (TCP) services to assist older people with the transition from hospital to home after injury or illness, and DVA Community Nursing for eligible veterans.
Our nursing and allied health services include assessment and individualised treatment to support older people to retain their independence. Resthaven employs physiotherapists, podiatrists, occupational therapists, social workers, counsellors, speech therapists and continence management specialists to provide health services.
Nursing and Allied Health Services are available at each of Resthaven's Community Services.
