To be successful in this role it is essential that you have a current driver’s licence, use of a reliable and insured motor vehicle and a flexible approach to the days and hours worked. Reporting to the Manager Corporate Services you will be responsible for the provision of support services to Independent Retirement Living residents, and maintaining occupancy levels through the management of new residents by liaising with Site Managers regarding incoming residents, and undertaking financial interviews, organising contractual arrangements, including induction and ongoing support to new residents.

Working independently, you will have high levels of communication, negotiation, mediation and advocacy skills. You will demonstrate proven experience in delivering quality customer service. The position will be based at our Bellevue Heights facility with travel across all of Resthaven's Retirement Living sites. A driver’s licence and use of own vehicle is essential.

Tertiary qualification in Social Science and Health Services with knowledge of Retirement Villages and Aged Care Act with experience in provision of services to the elderly is desirable.

The successful applicant will coordinate support for Home Support Workers and Community Clients who are accessing In-home support. You will possess proven case management and coordination experience, ideally with Community Programs. You will also have sound computer skills, effective organisational and communication skills, knowledge of Community Care Standards, and have empathy and understanding towards the needs of older people and their Carers.

Key responsibilities involve the assessment, implementation and review of flexible services to frail older people living in their own homes. You will undertake program development and review for clients that access Respite and In-home support in the Riverland Area.

A current driver’s licence is essential for this position. A degree in a Health or Social sciences field, and an understanding of CIM would be highly regarded. Some out of hours on call work will apply.

You will have demonstrated leadership and passion in building and educating a quality culture at all levels and coaching a small team of direct reports. As a Lead auditor you will coordinate the (Quality) Auditing Systems, undertake audits and associated project work. 

It is essential that you have tertiary qualifications preferably in the Health/Science related field with previous experience in the Management of Quality Systems and proven leadership skills. Ideally you will possess Lead Auditor qualifications. A current driver’s licence is essential. Experience in a similar position within the aged care industry and knowledge of Aged Care Standards would be highly regarded.
