<title>Aged Care - a growth industry </title>
<description>Demand for aged care services will progressively grow over the next 30 to 40 years in all areas of Australia. One of the fastest growing industries in Australia, aged care is the ninth largest employer with more than 262,000 employees nationwide. Work in this sector offers many opportunities to make a difference in people’s daily lives, either directly or indirectly. The benefits of working with older people are numerous and include knowing that your work contributes to better lives for individuals, so that they can have a good quality of life.

<title>New Offices Planned for Resthaven </title>
<description>Resthaven has been consistently expanding and has outgrown the current head office buildings. For the past five years, options for a new head office location have been explored, without success. Therefore, Resthaven was very pleased to be invited by Annesley College Council to tender for a parcel of surplus land on the corner of Greenhill Rd and Bartley Crescent, Wayville, and are delighted that the competitive bid was successful.

<title>Ageing Well</title>
<description>Resthaven supports health promotion, illness prevention and encourages older people to remain active and socially involved - to enable them to age well. Currently work is being done on a Department of Health and Ageing funded project called The Good, the Bad and the Brilliant, which aims to promote positive images of ageing, raise awareness and reduce the stigma of people living with dementia.

<title>Resthaven Leabrook Upgrade</title>
<description>Resthaven intends to upgrade a section of Resthaven Leabrook. The old facilities on the north west corner facing Kensington Road, bounded by Perry Lane, no longer meet the current lifestyle expectations of the community and plans have been lodged with the City of Burnside for an upgrade to replace these with an attractive and complementary redevelopment.
