Eligibility
Generally, people aged sixty years and over are eligible for Resthaven's services. The level of need for community programs such as CACP or EACH is determined by an assessment undertaken by an independent Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). No assessment is required for some other community programs.
To find your local Aged Care Assessment Team and for further information, contact the Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre on 1800 052 222.
Telephone appointments are necessary. For further information contact the Community Services in your area.
Fees
Community Services are funded by government and other grants and client contributions. There is a recommended fee structure where a contribution towards the cost of providing services is negotiated, taking into consideration individual circumstances. Fees may be negotiated where the recommeded fee is beyond an individual's financial capacity.
