‘Resthaven has given me a new lease on life,’ says Beryl

A few years ago, Beryl moved from her long-term home to Resthaven Leabrook – and has since made it her ‘domain’.

‘My doctor suggested that I come here, and I came to look at the place and loved it!’

‘I’ve been here for four years, haven’t regretted one day of it. Ever since then, I’ve just felt so at home.’

‘I get up every morning at quarter to 7:00 and have a shower. The girls come in to make my bed, and I’m out here at 9:00 o’clock in the morning – I don’t go back until late afternoon!’

‘This out here is my domain, I call it, but I don’t mind sharing it with everybody else!’

‘I met Darren, the CEO, and he came up here and made himself welcome, and we had a nice chat about everything. He asked us if we had we settled in, and naturally, I had.’

‘There’s always somebody that will listen to you. Coming to Resthaven Leabrook, it did give me a new lease on life.’
