    Resthaven Bellevue Heights Redevelopment

Stage two of the $27m major redevelopment at Resthaven Bellevue Heights is well underway.

The redevelopment aims to bring a new contemporary feel to the home and take full advantage of the sweeping views of Sturt Gorge, and the beautiful native-themed site grounds.

Manager Residential Services, Leanne Spencer, says, ‘Stage one of the redevelopment wrapped up in mid-2022 – this included the full refurbishment of the hall and lounges.’

‘The second stage of the project involves the construction of a new service level, and a dementia-specific area on the entry level.’

‘Residents were excited to recently see the first concrete foundation being poured, and the pre-fabricated walls craned in.’

‘Along with this, the internal refurbishment of existing areas continues.’

‘The refurbished areas are almost complete, and look beautiful. Residents are very happy to be able to use them again.’

‘We are all enjoying seeing the daily progress as the redevelopment moves past its halfway point.’

‘Improvements are also being made to the retirement living lodge, which commenced in April.’

‘We thank everyone who visits the site for their patience and understanding as we undergo this major project.’

‘We can’t wait to see the finished result.’

The redevelopment is expected to be complete in the second quarter of 2024.
