    Christmas celebrations across Resthaven

Christmas celebrations are in full swing across Resthaven, with all residential sites holding festive ‘Resident Christmas Functions’ throughout December.

Christmas celebrations kicked off at Resthaven Mitcham on 1 December, where residents, families and volunteers enjoyed a festive cocktail party. Next year, once the site redevelopment is complete, they will enjoy Christmas in their brand new communal hall!

This marked the beginning of celebrations at all Resthaven residential sites across metropolitan Adelaide, Hills, Murray Bridge, Port Elliot and Mount Gambier, with each site party attended by representatives from the Resthaven Board, Executive, and senior management group.

Lifestyle and kitchen staff worked hard to ensure the annual event was a highlight on the calendar. At Resthaven Bellevue Heights, a three piece band played Christmas carols as residents enjoyed their traditional lunch of turkey, ham, glazed carrots, and roast potatoes.

At all sites, the atmosphere was one of joy and festivity, as residents, volunteers and staff came together to share in some festive cheer.
