    COVID-19 Vaccinations Begin at Resthaven

‘Resthaven Port Elliot and Resthaven Marion and have been advised as being two of the first South Australian COVID-19 vaccination sites,’ says Resthaven CEO, Darren Birbeck.

‘Vaccinations of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will take place at Resthaven Port Elliot this Thursday 25 February, followed by Resthaven Marion on Friday 26 February. The site communities have been notified.’

‘Resthaven is yet to be advised the timing of the roll-out for the groups in Phase 1a of the vaccine roll-out, including both aged care residents and the workforce who support them.’

‘We will advise the details of further clinics when details are made available to us.’

‘Those wishing to accompany residents during their vaccination will be notified of times and dates as they are provided to Resthaven by the appropriate authorities.’

The implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination program across residential aged care facilities in South Australia is being managed by the Commonwealth Government (except for SA Government operated facilities). To support the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine program in South Australia, SA Health has published a series of frequently asked questions, including information on safety and testing.
