    A little about the role:

    • Assessing residents, planning and evaluating programs or treatments by:
    • assessing residents with a wide range of acute and chronic disorders and implementing appropriate therapy assessing, care planning, documenting programs or treatments in line with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission standards
    • prescribing a delivery of complex pain management involving therapeutic massage and/or technical equipment specifically designed for pain management
    • Ensuring the functional and physical assessments for residents support the resident's assessed level of need to optimise eligible government funding
    • Participating in continuing education and courses updating Physiotherapy techniques and information

    You will have:

    • Experience in working with aged clients in a multi-disciplinary environment
    • Current AHPRA registration
    • An understanding of issues for elderly people, their families and carers
    • Sound computer skills and an understanding of quality accreditation systems and their application in the workplace
    • Have your current Influenza vaccination 
    • Have had both Covid-19 vaccinations and Covid -19 booster (if eligible)
    • A current driver's licence
    • Possess an evidence-based, yet innovative approach to healthy ageing and well-being with a knowledge of a range of clinical and rehabilitative interventions

    Registered Nurse & RN Coordinator

    Resthaven Northern Community Services currently have vacancies for Registered Nurse and Registered Nurse Coordinators to join their Elizabeth team in permanent full-time roles.

    Role requirements:

    Registered Nurse

    • Provide direct clinical care and holistic services to clients living in the Northern suburbs 
    • Work with our home support and coordination teams in an advisory and educator capacity

    • Guiding and supporting direct care teams
    • Providing support to community clients living in their own home through provision of clinical support and education

    Registered Nurse Coordinator 
    • Provide leadership and support to Registered Nurses for the community nursing services and supervision of home support workers and community coordinators in relation to legislated nursing activities
    • Coordinate services which deliver individually tailored packages of services for clients
    • Develop care plans and work instructions appropriate to the delivery of nursing care in the home for clients with a high level of need
    • Provide appropriate service responses based on assessed need, ranging from creation / coordination of packages of services through referral to alternative services
    • Assist with coordination and day to day running of the centre based activities including groups as needed in conjunction with the Manager


     You will have:
    • Comprehensive clinical knowledge, particularly to age related issues, and experience working with contemporary practices in an aged care environment
    • A strong understanding of what is required to support the needs of older people
    • An inclusive, collaborative and supportive leadership style
    • Demonstrated ability to engage and connect with people at all levels with clarity and empathy
    • The ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care outcomes
    • Proficient with computer systems
    • Have current AHPRA registration

    Coordinator Community Services

    Resthaven Northern Community Services, Elizabeth, South Australia

    Resthaven Community Services at Elizabeth has two Coordinator Community Services opportunities available - 1 permanent full-time and 1 full-time fixed term to 30/6/23.

    This opportunity:


    Our Resthaven Community Services team at Elizabeth need two community centred people to become part of their Team. 

    We need individuals to use their well-developed client service skills to provide support to our client base. 

    There are two vacancies:

    1 Full-time permanent position (0.8 to full-time)
    1 Full time, fixed term position to 30/06/2023.

     A little more about the role:
    • Assisting with the coordination and day to day running of the centre-based activities including respite groups in conjunction with the Manager
    • Ensuring professional communication with clients, families and our team
    • Assessing individual personal and social needs of clients who are eligible to receive Community Service assistance
    • Developing appropriate service responses based on assessed need, ranging from the creation and the coordination of packages and services to individual clients

    About you:

    • Demonstrated experience in program coordination in a community care setting or similar

    Home Support Worker

    Resthaven Riverland Community Services, Berri, South Australia

    Resthaven Riverland Community Services is currently seeking Home Support Workers to join their team in a casual capacity.

    The Role

    Resthaven offers a wide range of home care services, all delivered in a way that supports our clients' choices and independence and respects their individuality and privacy. A key part of your job will be supporting your clients to continue to be engaged and active in the community, by taking them to the shops, the hairdresser, and other social events. As a Home Support Worker, you can work much as you like. With shifts available 24/7 - the job can be flexible to suit you.

    Clerical Support

    Resthaven Bellevue Heights, Bellevue Heights, South Australia

    Our Residential Services home located at Bellevue Heights is currently seeking a permanent part time, 4 days week, 8.30am - 4.30pm Clerical Support Officer. In this diverse and fast paced role you will be responsible for relieving reception, rostering, maintaining financial accounts, managing visitors to the site and coordinating admissions and discharges. Exceptional and warm customer service skills, rostering experience, ability to deal with competing priorities and being able to initiate process improvements will set you apart and make you a great fit for this opportunity.

    The Role:
    • Managing visitors to the site
    • Meeting the needs of our residents with their daily requests
    • Maintaining office filing systems and general work processing
    • Operation of a switchboard, relieving reception
    • Some account reconciliation
    • The processing of admissions and discharges
    • Assistance with maintaining financial accounts
    • Managing petty cash 
    • Managing the 4 weekly roster using CIM
    About you:
    • You have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel, Word and Outlook at an intermediate level
