Family Carer Workshops
Facilitated by Dementia Australia
The workshop provides an opportunity to learn about practical strategies, share common experiences and learn ways to support a person with a diagnosis of dementia living in the community.
Family members and friends attend one 4 hour session.
Topics include:
- What is dementia?
- Effective communication
- Understanding changed responses
- Support and services available

Family and friends of a person diagnosed with dementia
