Farmer Darcy visits Resthaven Port Elliot
On 8 October, the ‘Farmer Darcy’ travelling farm visited Resthaven Port Elliot.
‘Farmer Darcy’, a regular visitor to the home, brought along a variety of small animals for residents to touch and hold. All are rescued farm animals.
They included a calf, baby alpaca, piglet, lamb, several baby goats, and a variety of chickens and ducks.
Residents loved watching the animals frisking around in their special enclosure in the courtyard gardens, with much hilarity ensuing when a miniature goat found his way out! Luckily, he was quickly returned to the group.
Thank you to Farmer Darcy for the visit, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day.
