Garden group creates succulent masterpiece
Residents at Resthaven Paradise have repurposed a large aquarium to create a beautiful succulent garden.
Lifestyle Coordinator, Thuy Pam, says, ‘All members of the garden appreciation group assisted in planting and arranging the plants.’
‘We used cuttings and special potting mix to create the indoor plant feature, which will take pride of place in a nice sunny spot in the Hall.’
‘Once the plants are established, a watering schedule will be established, with residents to water the plants with a spray bottle when they come down to the Hall for activities.’
‘The garden appreciation group is very proud of the results, and can’t wait to see the garden grow.’
Resthaven Paradise is just one of Resthaven’s twelve residential aged care homes, which are also located at Bellevue Heights, Craigmore, Leabrook, Malvern, Marion, Mitcham, Mount Gambier, Murray Bridge, Port Elliot and Westbourne Park.
