    Garden upgrade commences at Resthaven

In December, Resthaven Northern Community Services began their long-anticipated garden upgrade.

Manager, Karen Hammond, says, ‘The current garden requires a lot of hands-on work to upkeep it, which has proved to be unsustainable.’

‘Our client gardening group, who enjoyed the upkeep, have now decided it’s time to make the gardening simpler, and make the communal garden more self-sustainable, for clients and staff to enjoy.’

‘The upgrade at Northern Community Services will allow us to introduce new people to our gardening group, provide an outdoor space for staff to use, and provide a space that other clients can also use,’ Karen says.

‘We can’t wait to share the results with you all.’

    ‘Watch this space!’
