Information for Visitors to Resthaven Residential Aged Care Homes

Resthaven continues to monitor visitors to Resthaven Residential Aged Care homes in accordance with the state government direction, which prescribes no more than two visitors, only once per day, for each resident. We request family and friends liaise with each other to coordinate visits to avoid disappointment.

    Visiting hours are from 1 – 3 pm, 7 days a week.

Visitors are to stay for a maximum of one hour in the resident’s room or outdoors or in a specific designated area of the residential aged care facility, rather than in communal areas. Click HERE to view the Residential Visiting Arrangements Fact Sheet.

All visitors are to use the main entrance only, and undertake a screening process that includes temperature checking and sighting of proof of having had an influenza vaccination this year. For details, check the fact sheet here: (insert link)

A pet (on a lead at all times) is welcome to accompany the one or two visitors per resident at the same time each day, if maintained at the social distancing of 1.5m from all residents, staff and other visitors at all times.
