Ladies pampered in the Limestone Coast

Clients at Resthaven Limestone Coast Community Services enjoyed a full pamper day, courtesy of the carers on-site.

Held at Resthaven’s Millicent office, the ladies started their pamper session with a hand massage, foot spa, face mask and mocktails, then headed out for coffee and cake.

Limestone Coast Community Services Assistant Manager, Unyetta Raddon, says, ‘Home Support Worker, Melissa, gave the ladies a special treatment with skin brightening face masks, and cooling cucumbers for their eyes.’

Home Support Workers, Cheryl and Joyce, were also working hard, overseeing the pedicures and manicures, with many colours to choose from.’

‘Our lovely Home Support Workers enjoyed their part as beauticians for the day, switching up their roles to suit each client – Christine especially enjoyed having her makeup done by Cheryl.’

And what pamper day is complete without a cheeky mocktail?

‘The ladies were thrilled with their mocktails, with many posing for a photo – if only we had gin!’

Once the group were well and truly relaxed and beautified, it was time to hit the town, with the assistance of their beauticians.

‘It was great for the ladies to be able to show off their freshly manicured nails and dolled up face – with talks of another pamper session on the horizon!’

‘It was the perfect end to a perfect, pampered day.’

‘This is just one of the many things that our awesome team of Home Support Workers do for clients and their carers, and it makes such a difference’

‘During National Carers Week, and always, we thank you for all that you do.’
