Lane Cottages Temporary Relocation

From 4 – 10 July, Resthaven Community Respite Services Lane Cottages will temporarily relocate from their usual site adjacent Resthaven Mitcham at Truro Avenue, Kingswood, to undergo a kitchen upgrade.

Manager, Carole Matthews, says, ‘We decided to relocate Lane Cottages during the works to ensure none of our guests are disturbed by the building noise and disruption.’

‘We will return to brand new kitchen facilities in Lane Cottage, with the old kitchen turned into one open plan space.’

‘Whilst the new kitchen is installed, the Lane Cottage program will operate from Resthaven Westbourne Park, located at 30 Sussex Terrace, Westbourne Park.’

‘Lane Cottage staff will be contactable either via the Resthaven Westbourne Park reception (8271 3300), or by phoning the Lane Cottages Coordinator on 8358 3173.’

Resthaven Community Respite Services support older people and their carers by providing high quality short term care for older people, to allow their carers to take a break from their caring role.

Respite is available in client’s homes, and at a range of locations across metropolitan Adelaide. Respite options include everything from short day visits to group respite and social outings, to overnight stays in comfortable, refurbished overnight respite cottages.
