Limestone Coast Group Fun
It’s all happening at Resthaven Limestone Coast Community Services, with an array of fun groups now available for older people in the area.
‘We do lots of great activities in our groups, including cooking, exercises, bus trips and games,’ says Resthaven Limestone Coast Community Services Manager, Liz Southall.
‘Group members meet new people, learn new skills, and remain socially connected.’
‘The number of people attending the groups continues to grow, with about ten people currently attending our Naracoorte Social Group.’
‘This group recently spent an afternoon making beautiful jewellery.’
‘Not to be outdone, the Millicent Men’s Group recently took a fishing trip up the river, coming home with an impressive catch.’

‘Alternatively, you can contact Government portal, My Aged Care, and let them know that you wish to join a Resthaven Limestone Coast Community Services group.’
‘We also offer overnight and day respite for carers at Naracoorte. We can provide transport to and from the respite cottage, so it is easier for everyone. Phone us to find out more about our respite services.’

Weekly on Fridays at 10am
45-minute activity with trained instructors, followed by morning tea. - Millicent Men’s Exercise Group
Weekly on Fridays at 1.30pm
45-minute activity with trained instructors for men only, followed by morning tea. - Millicent Men’s Social Group
Regular meetings
