Mocktail Party in the Limestone Coast

In early December, clients from Resthaven Limestone Coast Community Services in Millicent enjoyed an early New Year’s celebration with a ‘mocktail’ party, prepared by staff.

Assistant Manager, Unyetta Raddon, says, ‘This event was much anticipated, with a group of five clients RSVP’ing to join the party.’

‘Clients enjoyed a day full of mocktails of various flavours, live music, and fun games, all provided by our team on-site.’

‘Staff were very creative with the mocktails and put a lot of effort into the charcuterie boards – which was well received and appreciated by the group.’

To add to the theme, staff dressed up in black, playing the role of cocktail waiters.

‘The group absolutely loved the fancy outfits we wore! It really felt like a luxury cocktail party – minus the alcohol!’

The group enjoyed a special performance by Home Support Worker, and guitarist, Bree, while they took place in their mocktail related game.

‘While everyone enjoyed their spread, they began the food quiz, excited to share the answers with their friends.’

‘A fun, enjoyable day was had by all – and a cheery way to start off the new year!’
