New appointment to Resthaven

‘This week, we welcomed Darren Birbeck to Resthaven in the position of Executive Manager Governance and Corporate Services’, says Richard Hearn, Resthaven CEO.

‘Darren comes to Resthaven with a wealth of experience in the provision of high quality aged care services at a senior level.’

‘This is the first change to Resthaven’s Executive team for many years, and Darren will complement the team well.’

‘Prior to joining Resthaven, Darren was the General Manager Corporate Services with the City of Charles Sturt, and previously held an executive role for eleven years at ECH Incorporated. He also has a decade of involvement with the peak body, Aged and Community Services SA & NT.’

Darren says, ‘I am absolutely delighted to be returning to the aged care sector in an executive capacity. There is something truly special about working in an industry dedicated to improving the quality of life of older people.’
