It’s a great day for Pancake Day at Resthaven Malvern

Today, Resthaven Malvern held their annual Pancake Day Brunch for residents and staff to enjoy.

Each year, staff from Resthaven’s Head Office visit Resthaven Malvern, to help serve pancakes to residents. The Resthaven Malvern Pancake Day Brunch is quite an event on the calendar, having previously hosted former Channel 10 newsreader, Rebecca Morse, along with the one and only ‘Penny Pancake’ herself!

This year, with COVID-19 restrictions in mind, the event turned was a little more low-key, with residents socially distanced across the site, enjoying their topping-filled pancakes!

Head Office staff, Marketing Officer, Anna Mckenzie and Team Leader ICT Applications, Zambica De George, came along to help distribute pancakes among residents, who had the choice of strawberries and cream, lemon and sugar, maple syrup and ice-cream, or all of the above!

Many residents took advantage of the sunshine today by relaxing in the garden.

‘The day was stunning; the sun shining put everyone in a great mood’, Lifestyle Coordinator, Felicity Tucker says.

‘Pancake Day is always so much fun here at Resthaven Malvern – and who doesn’t like pancakes?’

‘Residents look forward to this day each year, and staff equally enjoy hosting the event, so it has been great to be able to continue with our plans.’

Please enjoy these fun moments captured today around the site – what a lovely day for it!

    Happy Pancake Day, everyone!
