Peter Jenkin wins Nurse Practitioner of the Year!

We are delighted to announce that Resthaven Nurse Practitioner, Peter Jenkin, has been named 2022 HESTA Nurse Practitioner of the Year.

The HESTA Nurse Practitioner of the Year award is a prestigious national award that recognises a Nurse Practitioner who has demonstrated outstanding qualities in the areas of clinical work, mentoring and leadership.

Peter’s win was announced at the 2022 Australian College of Nurse Practitioners National Conference in Sydney on Friday 14 October.

Resthaven Executive Manager Residential and Retirement Living, Tina Cooper, says, ‘We are so proud of Peter – he is a thoroughly worthy recipient of this award.’

‘This award win is testament to Peter’s outstanding efforts on behalf of the Resthaven community.’

Peter was previously the recipient of the “Employee” award in 2017’s Aged and Community Services (ACS) SA and NT Awards for Excellence.
