Resthaven Finalist in Two ACSA Award 2017 Categories

Resthaven is thrilled to be to a finalist in not one, but two categories in the Aged and Community Services (ACS) SA and NT Awards for Excellence this year.

‘Our first finalist is the “Spirituality in the Garden” program at Resthaven Marion, in the “Innovation in Service” Award,’ says Resthaven CEO, Richard Hearn.

‘The program, launched in 2016, has successfully redefined worship with an “interactive” style, focussing on spirituality and the individual.’

‘Our second finalist is Resthaven Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner, Peter Jenkin for the “Employee” Award.’

‘This award recognises the dedication and contribution of an individual employee in the delivery of services to older people, or those with a disability.’

‘With his professionalism, skill, and genuine compassion and care shown for residents in their final stages of life, Peter is deserving of recognition.’

‘We are very proud of Resthaven’s achievements, and extend our congratulations to Resthaven Marion, and Peter Jenkin for their recognition as finalists in the 2017 ACS Awards.’

‘Good luck, and we’ll see you at the awards!’
