New Office for Resthaven Community Services Strathalbyn

Staff at Resthaven Murray Bridge, Hills & Fleurieu Community Services are settling in nicely to their new premises at 9 Rankine Street, Strathalbyn.

The refurbished site houses staff from the recently closed Mount Barker office, as well as staff who were previously working from an office in Donald Street, meaning expanded services that are coordinated from Strathalbyn.

‘On 15 December, we held our first event at our new site,’ says Manager, Cecelia Oxborrow.

‘We launched the “Squeaky Joints and Well Oiled Cooks” cookbook – a collaborative project run with our Squeaky Joints arthritis management group.’

Carolyn Sellick, Cecelia Oxborrow, Janet Jones, Kath Ewing‘The event, which doubled as a Christmas celebration, was well attended by curious Resthaven staff and local media alike.’

‘We are so pleased that our new, larger offices are such a hit!’

‘They give us much-needed space for group events and extra staff, to coordinate high-quality in home support services throughout the region.’

‘Older people in the Adelaide Hills will once again be able to drop into a local office to chat about the care and support they need to stay living at home.’

‘We provide quality home care and respite services throughout the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula and Murray Bridge.’

‘Our services are delivered by trained staff, with many options available, including help around the home, shopping, personal care, health and wellness sessions, social support groups and respite care.’

‘If you’re not sure what you need, call us and we can explain your options.’
