• Resthaven Indigenous Scholarships at Flinders University

    Applications open for the Resthaven Indigenous Scholarship at Flinders University.

    Funded by Resthaven, the scholarship is open to any second year undergraduate, or any postgraduate who studies full-time at Flinders University.

    Flinders University Logo‘The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to indigenous students, to encourage a future workforce which has the capability to meet the needs of older Australians, regardless of their background or ethnicity’, says Wendy Morey, Executive Manager, Workforce Development and Governance.

    ‘Students who study design and technology innovation, nursing, nutrition and dietetics, speech pathology, social work, psychology or theology, and have a genuine interest in aged care, will be given first preference.’

    ‘The value of each scholarship is $2,500 per annum over two years, with one scholarship available per year.’

    Applications open on Tuesday 7 February, and close on Friday 10 March 2017.
