Resthaven Limestone Coast Community Services office opening

On Friday 12 April, Resthaven officially opened the new Resthaven Limestone Coast Community Services office at 13 Penola Road, Mount Gambier.

The event was attended by Board members, managers and executives, local staff and stakeholders, and the most important guests, Resthaven clients.

Manager, Theresa Connor, says, ‘Whilst our office at 15b James Street has served us well, with service demand increasing, we require more space from which to facilitate our high-quality support services for older people and their carers.’

‘This new, larger office space gives us the opportunity to provide exciting activities and programs to better meet the ever-changing needs of clients in our community.’

‘The new location also presents the opportunity for a “community hub,” where nursing and health clinics, information sessions and social programs may be held.’

‘Thank you to the Resthaven Limestone Coast Community Services team for working hard to make a smooth transition to this new space. We look forward to continuing to supporting older people in the area remain independent in their own homes.’

Resthaven Limestone Coast Community Services supports older people to live independently in their own homes throughout the south-east of South Australia. Other offices include Gordon Street, Naracoorte, and George Street, Millicent.
