Resthaven Port Elliot High Tea Launch
On Thursday 1 December, the Resthaven Port Elliot Resident Food Committee were delighted to ‘test’ the first ‘High Tea’ service at the site.
The guests, dressed in their best for the occasion, thoroughly enjoyed the delicacies on offer, served by Resthaven Port Elliot Manager, Pam Alde, and Coordinator, Housekeeping Services, Shannon Hutchins.
“Gift vouchers are now available for all Resthaven Port Elliot residents, families and friends to purchase a private ‘High Tea’ for those special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, or as a unique gift to their mum or dad,” says Executive Manager, Residential Services, Tina Cooper.
“High Tea include a delicious selection of special savouries, cakes and sweets, together with gourmet tea and coffee, served in elegant surrounds.”
The High Tea was a smash hit, with comments including:
- ‘The colour scheme of the table setting is perfect’.
- ‘It’s all wonderful’.
- ‘I loved the four selections of tea’.
- ‘I wouldn’t change a thing’.
- ‘It’s lovely that people with specific dietary requirements are catered for’.
