Resthaven Limestone Coast Social Group

On 21 August, the social group hand-dyed their very own silk scarfs.

The session was led by Manager, Liz Southall, who says, ‘Clients have been proudly wearing their hand-dyed scarfs around town, adding a touch of colour to their outfits.’

‘This is just one of the many activities we enjoy each week on Mondays at 17 Gordon Street, Naracoorte.’

‘We alternate weeks with a site-based activity, like silk scarf dyeing, followed by a social outing the next week.’

‘Recent outings included lunch at the local hotel, and attending ‘Morning Melodies’ at the theatre.’

‘An afternoon spent with children at the local primary school was also a big success.’

‘Benefits to members of the social group include the opportunity to socialise with peers, try their hands at new crafts, and enjoying outings to places of cultural interest.’
