Resthaven staff go ‘above and beyond’
A family recently contacted Resthaven to pass on some beautiful words of thanks regarding the ‘outstanding work’ of staff at Resthaven Paradise, who the family say went ‘above and beyond their call of duty’ in caring for their dad.
‘People are so quick to complain these days, but I would like to commend your nursing home and staff for the exceptional care they provided to my dad,’ the family wrote.
‘The staff always left me feeling happy and confident that my dad was being taken really good care of.’
‘They didn’t seem to just treat it like a job, but found a way and means of bonding and connecting with my dad to get the best out of him.’
‘I always asked my Dad, “Are they taking good care of you?” and if the food was good there, and he always replied “yes”.’
‘You made life very comfortable and happy for him, especially by bringing out the best in him with his dancing and music.’
‘Dad was touched by many people there, and has touched people in his way through dancing too, and for this we are forever grateful.’
‘Thanks again for allowing us to celebrate my dad’s 80th in December with his family and friends at the home too – the set up you provided and the gentleman who helped us on the day was very much appreciated.’
‘My dad had a really good time and was really very happy this day, which has left us with a beautiful and happy memory.’
