    Resthaven Westbourne Park Redevelopment

Resthaven Westbourne Park’s $6 million redevelopment project is nearing full completion, with an official opening of the new areas planned for November 2018.

‘The project, which began in late 2017, is being completed and most areas have now been handed over’, says Emmet O’Donovan, Manager Building and Capital Projects.

‘Rooms on site continue to be refurbished, and older share rooms are being updated to allow for larger single room options or to allow couples to share, all have their own ensuites.’

‘The site now includes a 16 place dementia-specific area, with a large and spacious sensory garden.’

‘In addition, the site entrance has been upgraded, and reception enlarged to include a café, meeting place, and outdoor courtyard.’

‘The reception and café are now open, and the area is looking modern and light.’

‘It’s a lovely space, and will be a nice part of the site for residents, their families and friends to enjoy.’

Resthaven residential aged care homes are located at Aberfoyle Park, Bellevue Heights, Craigmore, Leabrook, Malvern, Marion, Mitcham, Murray Bridge, Mount Gambier, Paradise, Port Elliot and Westbourne Park.
