Spirits (and rainfall) high in Mount Gambier

On 19 November, Resthaven Mount Gambier residents took part in the annual Mount Gambier Christmas Pageant – thankfully from the shelter of the site mini-bus, amidst torrential rain!

Manager, Belle Kerr, says, ‘We had terrible weather for the pageant; however, the show must go on.’

‘Our spirits weren’t dampened by the wet conditions, with a keen group of residents eagerly piling into our recently refurbished mini-bus.’

‘The bus certainly looked the part for its pageant debut, sporting a big red bow on its front.’

‘Residents were thrilled to be part of the annual parade, and glad for the dry conditions inside the bus.’

‘They had a great time, and we heard plenty of positive feedback about the outing.’

‘It was wonderful to see the pageant come back to Mount Gambier after a two-year COVID-induced hiatus.’

‘It was also a great excuse to take our refurbished bus for a spin.’

‘Thank you to all those who took part, other pageant participants, and to the City of Mount Gambier for arranging this event. We all had a great time!’
