The Marshalls ‘couldn’t be happier’
Mr Graham Marshall is visiting his wife of 66 years, Val, at Resthaven Port Elliot, and ‘couldn’t be happier’ with the support she receives.
‘As far as I’m concerned, Resthaven is number one,’ he says.
‘Val had two lots of respite here before moving in permanently, and she really enjoyed it.’
‘I thought, if Val enjoyed it, that’s the place.’
It’s not just Resthaven Port Elliot’s award winning, state of the art facilities, or its central, seaside location, but the staff and community which impress Graham so much.
‘Pam [Manager] is one in a million,’ he says.
‘She’s one out of the box.’
‘The staff are amazing. I’m very grateful for the way they treat Val.’
‘Everything is always very clean – the service is as good as a five-star hotel.’
‘It’s the best move we ever made.’
Resthaven supports around 1,200 older people in our fully accredited residential homes across metropolitan Adelaide, the Murraylands, Fleurieu and Mount Gambier.
