Lifestyle Choices is a full fee-for-service – or ‘user pays’ - program that helps you to stay living at home.
The full range of Resthaven’s widely recognised, quality, accredited community aged care services is available in a flexible plan that is tailored to your individual needs. You get the same high quality staff, services and coordination that is provided in all of our services.
Your Resthaven Coordinator will visit you at home and work with you to tailor a plan that meets your individual needs.
You may take up these services in the long term, short term or for “one-off” needs.
Support is negotiated according to each person’s individual circumstances and may include, but is not limited to:
- household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and gardening
- home maintenance
- shopping
- transport
- support with medication
- attending medical appointments
- assistance with personal care such as showering and dressing
- pet/garden care
- professional nursing and allied health services
- support to keep in touch with family, friends and the community
- emotional support
- help with documentation
- assistance with finding a residential care place
- other assistance as negotiated according to need - the choice is yours.
Charges are set out in a Schedule of Fees and apply for both coordination and in-home services. The cost of your package reflects the negotiated range of services provided for each person.
Resthaven provides these services in northern, eastern, western and southern metropolitan Adelaide, Adelaide Hills, Murray Bridge and Mallee, Limestone Coast and Riverland areas.
