Volunteer Indah with residentEnrich lives through volunteering

Volunteering is a meaningful way to enrich the lives of older people – and your own. You can choose to:

    • Share companionship and interests in a residential aged care home or in a client’s home
    • Support group activities, in residential settings or in a community group
    • A combination of both individual and group support roles

    Volunteering is flexible:

    • You can volunteer on weekdays or weekends
    • You can volunteer for an hour or a couple of hours, half a day or a couple of days – per shift.
    • You can choose a pattern that suits you – weekly, fortnightly, monthly or occasionally on an on-call basis.

‘There is something special about volunteering. I can see the difference I am making and feel the difference it makes within myself.’ – Rosie-Resthaven Westbourne Park Volunteer
