‘Thank You’ from a Family Member

Resthaven Aberfoyle Park recently received a lovely letter of thanks from the family of a resident:

‘It has been five weeks since my mum shifted into Resthaven Aberfoyle Park, and I am amazed at how well she has coped with the change.’

‘We were preparing ourselves for the shift to set her back, but that definitely has not been the case.’

‘I would like to pass on to all the staff how grateful we are for their help, care and respect shown to mum, and us a family too.’

‘I particularly want to thank the staff who encouraged mum to get out of her room and be involved with others, something she wasn’t doing [at her previous home].’

‘It shows in her face – she looks so much brighter.’

‘I really felt the need to thank you and your staff, and to encourage them in the most important work that they are doing.’

‘On behalf of all my family, thank you.’
