    Resthaven Limestone Coast Community Services deliver home support, social activities and respite care throughout the southeast of South Australia. The main office is based in Mount Gambier, with other offices located in Millicent and Naracoorte. A respite cottage is also located in Naracoorte.
    In late January, the Resthaven Limestone Coast Community Services office at Gordon Street, Naracoorte, was affected by a fire in a neighbouring building. Whilst the fire did not spread to Resthaven’s building, there was concern regarding possible asbestos-contaminated smoke from the fire. A final inspection took place in late March, and staff have now moved back into the building. Services have been operating remotely during this time, with no interruptions in service to clients.

    Support is delivered in your home by trained Resthaven home support workers, or at our Community Services office in Naracoorte. Day respite is also offered in Naracoorte.

    You may choose to receive support with household tasks, home maintenance, shopping, social activities, keeping healthy, personal care and nursing care.

    Social, Wellness and Fitness groups available:

    • Naracoorte Social Club: Glue sticks, good chats, and the occasional grand adventure! Join us for creative craft days where masterpieces (and sometimes happy little “abstract surprises”) are made, plus fun outings that get us out and about. It’s all about laughter, connection, and doing something different — no talent required, just a sense of humour and maybe a hat for day trips.
    • Easy Moves mixed group (Mount Gambier): A feel-good movement session designed to improve strength and balance — without feeling like a gym class from the 80s. Move at your own pace, have a laugh, and enjoy a well-earned morning tea after. Morning tea supplied (because balance is important…especially between exercise and snacks).
    • Creative Corner Craft (Mt Gambier): No experience? Perfect. Two left hands? Even better. A relaxed and welcoming craft group where we get creative, swap stories, and occasionally surprise ourselves with hidden talent. Afternoon tea supplied — creativity runs on snacks.
    • Easy Moves Millicent Ladies Group: Gentle guided exercises to keep you steady on your feet and strong in all the right places. Move, chat, giggle — repeat. Morning tea supplied (because queens deserve refreshments).
    • Easy Moves Millicent Men’s Group: Strength, balance, and good company — no lycra required. A relaxed session to keep you moving well and feeling strong. Afternoon tea supplied — earned, of course.
    • Creative Corner Craft (Millicent): Roll up your sleeves and get hands-on with fun, simple projects in a relaxed and social setting. It’s less “serious art class” and more “good company with glue sticks.” Morning tea supplied (fuel for masterpieces).
    • Bus Trips: Adventure awaits! Jump on the bus and let us do the driving while you enjoy great company, new places, and zero parking stress. There may be shopping, sightseeing, or sneaky café stops involved… just saying.
