On Good Friday
Easter is time of celebrating new life and renewal, of life coming out of death.
This is especially pertinent at this time, with nations brutally at war overseas, and devastating natural disasters here at home. All this on top of our third year of a global pandemic.
As the days lengthen, the mornings are dark, let us be the light for one another. Even a smile is like a candle in the darkness. It only takes one candle to make us aware of light.
Even in times of hardship, devastation and despair, there is hope, there is life, there is light and there is love. May we share this with one another this season. Amen.
