Resthaven Limestone Coast Community Services offers home-style respite for carers during the day or overnight in a supportive, relaxed and secure environment at Naracoorte.

Programs
Overnight and Day Respite
- A private, single room with bathroom is available for those staying overnight.
- Skilled support staff who understand the needs of older people are on site 24 hours a day.
- Day respite is offered in a small group of up to four people, for extended hours if required.
- Day respite is available on a short-term or regular basis for people who enjoy social interaction.
- A social program is available. It focuses on the abilities and interests of the person being cared for. A secure garden allows the older person to enjoy the outdoors.
- Nutritious, home cooked meals are provided, catering for individual preferences.
- Transport to and from the Respite House can be arranged within the region.
- Services offered Monday-Friday.
Emergency Respite
Respite may be available at short notice, such as in emergency situations (subject to availability).

A My Aged Care referral number is required to access community respite services.
Respite support at Naracoorte is available for carers who live in the Limestone Coast region and care for frail older people with low to moderate care needs.
