What is Support at Home?

Support at Home is the Australian Government’s national program for aged care at home.

Respite accommodation is available at all Resthaven residential aged care homes.

A period of respite gives much needed relief to the family carers and offers the opportunity to experience what living in a

On 1 November 2025, the Australian Government introduced Support at Home — the new government funding program replacing Home Care Packages (HCP).

Are you supporting someone with dementia at home?

Through Resthaven’s Staying at Home in Regional SA (SAHRSA) program, you and your loved one can enjoy small group retreats for three days and two nights, with 24/7 staff.
