While the banner is new to the establishment, the featured staff member is no newbie.
Head Office Administration/Reception, Nora Tuazon, says, ‘I began working here about six years ago, and I love it!’
‘In my role, I encounter a lot of different people from across the organisation, whether it be clients, staff or contractors who support the sites—I connect people to where they need to be.’
‘I really enjoy helping people find what they need and making sure to welcome them to Resthaven with a smile. That is most important to me.’
As Nora is the first face you see when you walk through the doors of Head Office, it is no surprise that CEO, Darren Birbeck, asked her to feature in the newest recruitment advertisement.
Darren says, ‘Nora has the wonderful ability to make each and every person that she interacts with feel like they are the most important person in the world to her. It is a true gift.’
Nora says, ‘I feel very honoured to have the opportunity from Darren. It has been helpful for people who walk through the door, as they feel that they know me. They say, “you are the lady on the sign!” and I proudly say, “yes I am”.’
‘In an administrative role, it is nice that I feel that the organisation I support is of a good nature and doing good for the community. I am very proud to be the face people see when they first arrive at Head Office.’
