1,400 years of service recognised at Resthaven Staff Appreciation Awards

Every year, Resthaven acknowledges staff who have completed at least ten years’ service at the annual Resthaven Staff Appreciation Awards.

Employment milestones are recognised in increments of five, from 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years.

The Staff Appreciation Awards have been held every year since 1993, making it the 25 year anniversary of the awards themselves!

This year, 103 Resthaven employees were eligible for awards, celebrating around 1,400 years of combined service. All were invited to attend a special luncheon in their honour, along with Board Members, their managers, and executive managers.

On 6 July 2018, more than 100 people attended the function.

Board President, Mark Porter, and CEO, Richard Hearn presented the award recipients with an appreciation gift and a certificate recognising their service.
