    Resthaven announced as ACSA Award Finalist

    ‘Having won two prestigious Better Practice Awards in 2017, Resthaven is honoured to be named as a finalist in the 2018 Aged & Community Services Australia (ACSA) Aged Care Awards for South Australia,’ says Richard Hearn, Resthaven Chief Executive Officer.

    ‘The ACSA awards give focus to the key contribution of not-for-profit aged care service providers in services, innovation and research that benefit the Australian community.’

    ‘The category we are a finalist in is the ‘Aged Care Provider of the Year,’ which recognises a provider who demonstrates outstanding leadership, management, workforce culture, innovation and communication in the aged care sector.’

    ‘Our nomination reflects the whole of organisation approach to high quality aged care, with systems and workforce development being a key commitment.’

    ‘I am proud of the way we have demonstrated our purpose, to provide outstanding care and support to older people and their carers.’

    ‘We look forward to the awards presentation dinner at the National Wine Centre, Friday 27 July 2018, when the winners will be announced.’
