2020 Resthaven Leabrook tipping competition

May the best tip win!

The 2020 AFL season may have been quieter than usual, but that wasn’t going to stop the Resthaven Leabrook ‘footy tippers’ celebrating the end of the season with a party.*

Lifestyle Coordinator, Sorina Pap, says, ‘Despite the challenges of this year’s footy season, we kept going, with 24 tippers taking part in our competition this year.’

‘Dreams were shattered for Port Adelaide fans this year – so close, yet so far.’

‘Crows supporters are sure that Crows are a “shoe in” for next year.’

‘We celebrated the end of the season with a “happy hour”, with guests enjoying party pies, pasties, and sausage rolls.’

‘As you can see from the photos, there was plenty of fun and laughter to be had.’

‘The winners of the 2020 Resthaven Leabrook tipping competition were Mr and Mrs Middleton, who have been together for 70 years, moving into Resthaven Leabrook in May.’

‘Congratulations to the happy couple on their competition win.’

Resthaven was founded in 1935, and now supports thousands of older people with a range of in-home care, retirement living, and residential aged care across metropolitan Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills, Murraylands, Riverland, Barossa, Fleurieu Peninsula and the Limestone Coast.

*COVID-19 measures are in place at all Resthaven residential aged care homes. These include adherence to social distancing regulations, increased infection control, and room capacity limits at all group gatherings.
