    $300,000 Scholarship Boost Announced

Having an appropriately skilled workforce is a key priority for aged care.

Resthaven recognises this, and has donated a further $300,000 towards scholarships at all three major South Australian universities, to support the future aged care workforce.

Resthaven Executive Manager People & Culture, Sam Bradley, says, ‘This extra $300,000 is on top of the existing scholarships Resthaven already supports at the University of South Australia, Flinders University, and the University of Adelaide.’

Sam was delighted to congratulate the Resthaven scholarship recipients from UniSA in person, at the annual UniSA Grants and Scholarships Ceremony on 5 June, 2019.

Sam says, ‘I was delighted to present the 2019 Resthaven Scholarships to the following deserving students:

    • Melayni Bovaird-Cations (Undergraduate Occupational Therapy)
    • Brian Farnam (Undergraduate Physiotherapy) and
    • Raphael O’Connor (Undergraduate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Allied Health).’

‘Scholarship recipients from the University of Adelaide were announced on 21 May. Congratulations to:
