Activity Packs Distributed Across Resthaven

With many social activities currently postponed, both in Resthaven residential aged care homes and throughout the wider community, Resthaven has created a suite of free ‘activity books’ for residents and clients to enjoy.

These include short, four page ‘puzzlers’ sent with winter editions of the site newsletters, ‘life story’ booklets for people to record their treasured memories, and activity books containing puzzles and games, sent to all community services, independent retirement living, and residential services sites.

The booklets are proving to be a hit with everyone, with lots of positive feedback received.

Comments from retirement living residents who have enjoyed the activity books include:

Resthaven residential aged care homes are located at Aberfoyle Park, Bellevue Heights, Craigmore, Leabrook, Malvern, Marion, Mitcham, Murray Bridge, Mount Gambier, Paradise, Port Elliot and Westbourne Park.

Resthaven Community Services supports older people to live independently in their own homes throughout metropolitan Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills, Murraylands, Riverland, Barossa, Fleurieu Peninsula and the Limestone Coast.
