Celebrating accreditation success!

The Resthaven Murray Bridge, Hills & Fleurieu, and Riverland Community Services teams are celebrating, having passed their triennial Quality Audit by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) with flying colours.

Executive Manager Community Services, Mel Ottaway, says, ‘The triennial review looks through every aspect of our services, from consumer experience through to staff training, and compares them against 12 rigorous aged care standards.’

‘In late August, we were delighted to be informed that we were compliant with every single standard and their sub-categories – an amazing result, and a credit to our hardworking staff teams.’

‘The 20-page ACQSC report included confirmation that our customers are treated with dignity and respect, with their identity, culture and diversity valued.’

‘Consumers described staff as kind, caring and respectful, and expressed that our services are provided as an ongoing partnership with them.’

‘It was wonderful to receive feedback from customers that our services enable them to do things of interest and maintain social relationships, such as going shopping, attending Men’s groups, and enjoying group exercise classes.’
